Montgomery College is a public, fully accredited institution. MC is dedicated to student success and widely recognized for the quality and scope of its academic programs.
Middle States Accreditation
Montgomery College has been accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE)new window since 1950, and maintains this status through self-study and periodic review. The College was recently reaccredited on June 21, 2018, through the self-study report. The next Middle States accreditation action is scheduled for 2026-27.
