The Gudelsky Institute for Technical Education (GITE) offers a wide range of training in the areas of Automotive, Building and Construction, Construction Management, Computer Repair, Welding, Environmental Horticulture & Sustainable Agribusiness, and Basic Repairs. Students have the option of taking these classes for credit (working toward a College Degree) or noncredit (without the worry of grades) - through Workforce Development and Continuing Education (WDCE). Many of these classes prepare you for Industry Recognized Certification exams.

Prepare for a career in 5G technology and be part of the future!
Brought to you by Montgomery College, Worksource Montgomery and Montgomery County
Government. This FREE intensive 5-week, 60-hour program is designed to equip participants
with the essential skills needed to excel as fiber optic and wireless antenna installation
field technicians. A wireless technician starting rate is at $21/hr.

An introduction to Building Automation Systems (BAS), which are used to control and monitor building functions. Students will learn how these systems work, the equipment involved, and how they are used to make buildings more efficient, comfortable, and safe.
Prerequisite: HVAC Electricity or Fundamentals of Electrical Wiring or Understanding of basic electricity, including electrical theory, Ohm's Law, circuits, meters, motors, wiring practices, material selection, tool usage, plan reading, and safety, is essential.
