Vincent Briley

Mr. Vincent L. Briley brings over 20 years of experience in higher education, demonstrating a strong commitment to student success and organizational excellence. He is recognized for his expertise in academic advising, student life, data analysis, budget management, and behavioral intervention. Throughout his career, Mr. Briley has led numerous transformative initiatives focused on reducing equity gaps, improving student retention, and creating inclusive learning environments that empower both students and faculty.
 
In his previous roles, including as a coach for the Achieving the Promise Academy (ATPA) and the Presidential Scholars Program at Montgomery College, Mr. Briley has consistently championed student success. His leadership experience spans positions such as assistant dean at Cuyahoga Community College, assistant dean of Students and Director of Multi-Cultural Student Affairs at Denison University, and assistant dean of Academic Advising and Testing at Eastern Iowa Community College. In each of these roles, he successfully managed budgets, student success initiatives, and critical grants to support student development.
 
Mr. Briley earned a bachelor of arts in Specialized Studies from Ohio University and a master of arts in Education from the Ohio State University. Mr. Briley is expected to complete his doctorate in Adult Learning and Leadership from Kansas State University in 2025.
